Sex should be enjoyable to everyone, but it’s not for a lot of people.

When I was in Massachusetts, I specialized in sex problems. Medical doctors would refer these patients to me. One of the reasons for their problems are parents are telling their children, “you’ll get in trouble, it’s against God”. Even some of our churches scare young people. Parents should have a concern about their children and people taking sexual advantage of them. If a person has been forced into sex, it can go either way. Most of the time, it turns them off to sex; however, occasionally, it can work in reverse.

To give you an example, a young lady came to me fifteen years ago. She told me, that she was picked up by a truck driver, who promised to take her, wherever she wanted to go. He kept her prisoner for two days. He pulled her hair, slapped her face and made her do sexual acts during those two days. They slept in his truck, which had a sleeper. She was afraid that he was going to kill her. He stopped at a gas station and luckily, she managed to escape. She had a boyfriend, who loved and wanted to marry her. They lived together. Her problem was every few months, she would go into a bar and beg guys to have sex with her and beat her up. She could not control this. Her boyfriend would keep taking her back, despite her being all bruised up. She went to, two psychiatrists and a priest. The priest asked her for a sample and wanted to have sex with her. She came to me and said, “Where can I go for help”. “I saw you on television and the vibes came to me that I could trust you” She also said, “that she had no money, but my hobby is making maple furniture, and if you’ll help me, I will make you a nice desk.”

I gave her one cassette tape on sexual abuse. Seven months later, a big truck came with a beautiful desk in it. This desk had wheels on it, compartments, drawers, and even a light in it. I said to the truck driver, “Where did you get this”? ”This is a Maple, hand made desk. It must be worth five thousand dollars. The driver said,” there is a woman driving behind me, and she will be here any minute.” The lady, I gave the one cassette tape to, pulled into the driveway. She said, “I promised you a desk, and here it is”. I said, “I only gave you one tape.” She said, “That tape changed my life. I no longer have any desire to be abused and my wedding plans are set for next month.” I said, “Let me give you some money. I can’t accept this beautiful desk for just one tape. At least let me work with you, one on one, and give you some extra help. “She said, “I’ll be back later”. Fifteen years have gone by and she hasn’t come back yet. I don’t even know her name. That tells me she is happy. God works in strange ways.
